Bad service, the staff pack products so high on top of each-other and most of the stuff is chipped. The staff at the tills are so slow we waited 20min by the till with one product and they said they don’t have packets cause they are to lazy to pack the products in packets. There was a whole stack of plastic packets right behind her and when I asked her about it she was rude. Make sure you ask for your "Black Friday special" discount when you pay at the tills on Friday 29 Nov. They don't automatically give you the R150 discount for every R800 spent . I wonder why they advertise it then?
It seems that the Mr Price Home stores are disorganised and short on staff. The store has looked better in the past. Cashiers were being called over the PA system numerous times at loud volume while shoppers stand in queues.

The shop is exceptionally clean and well played out. Never had a issue with products or staff. Huge store with wide variety of goods for sporting equipment, clothing, bedding, decor and curtains, furniture, glassware, cooking utensils etc with good stock levels. Paypoints, while underserved in general, were quickly supplemented and the line was soon shorter again.

The lady at the teller next to me had the same experience. I waited in line at 9h30 for cashiers to open the pay point. I had to exchange an item that I had bought from another branch and there was no hassle at all. Great variety of goodies for the home. What a big selection of home goods. Staff is friendly, loads of priced to go items and display decor is quite good.
A bit all over the place, always have to walk through the entire shop to make sure you have considered all your options. Allot of the decor is scattered all over the shop, so you're never sure the last off something is the last. Other then that its a very nice shop with allot off things, but no longer necessarily the cheaper option.

They are quick to tell you that they don't stock an item, even though I had found it myself in the very same store later on. This surely has a quantifiable effect on the stores profit. I ended up not buying the item because of the staff lying to me. The staff behave as if you're inconveniencing them. This is the perfect example of why people would rather pay more and get good service because the overall experience here is just awful. All time favorite store with variety of items to choose from and you always gonna spend even you didn't plan to.
But you can find relatively cheap home items. Great shop but limited range of products. You don't get to find all the things they advertise in the branch.
Used to be my favourite sport and home shop. Absolutely terrible customer service lately. I dont think i will be back after today, seriously no regard to serve their customers.

Especially for new home owners or first time home owners. Queue at sales counter very slow, there is no urgency or care for other people's time restraints. Such a big store with fantastic variety, but the staff are quite unfriendly and carry on as if they are doing you a favour for doing their jobs.
Getting help from sales people was a hassle as tmitndidnt seem they were there at all. It seems the staff do not understand the effort needed to be up-and-running when doors open for business. Wide variety of items - but for some reason I can't find Egyptian cotton here, but I can at the Mr Price Home in Montana.
Their machine declined my card due to the switch/system error, only to arrive home and see that they charged me twice. After numerous attempts of calling the store someone finally answered. Now I have to drive all the way back to the centurion store to sort out this matter as I don't reside in that area. Their service earlier on was slow and bad to the point customers left the queue.
